Meridian Technology Group is seeking a Project Manager.


The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to defined timelines and within the allocated budget.
The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that business and end users are consulted with, and their input garnered for the project at hand.

  • Responsible for assisting agency executive management, division directors, and information technology (IT) staff and leading project tasks, resources, including personnel and deliverables.
  • Use appropriate project management tools, reports, templates, mentoring, training, and coaching to IT project teams.
  • Work directly with agency staff, as well as vendors and, when necessary, other agencies in fulfilling and carrying out the requirements of assigned IT projects.
  • Utilize project management best practices, including risk management, quality management, change management, change control and communication.
  • Manage by providing leadership, collaboration, supervision, training, guidance, and support to all IT project team members on assigned projects.
  • Lead the effort for ensuring agency compliance with the project management policies and standards.
  • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and contractors
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management across multiple platforms and paradigms with agile process management, financial management, resource management, and demand management capabilities
  • 3+ years of experience with running large/complex projects with multiple dependencies
  • Experience in the public sector and Human Services is a plus
  • PMP certification is a plus

Technical
  • Strong technology affinity and experience, as well as attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, platforms, and technologies (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, etc.)
  • Exposure to and knowledge of Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) using Scrum
  • Familiarity with cloud governance frameworks and best practices

  • Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Draw, ...)
  • Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)

  • Software (.NET/Java)
  • Cloud (IaaS/SaaS/PaaS)
  • Software Development (SDLC/Agile using Azure DevOps)


Location is Denver, CO. Position is Fully Remote.
