Meridian Technology Group is seeking a Program Manager. 


Description
 
This role offers creative, business savvy, customer-minded individuals the opportunity to develop Transportation Electrification products and services while helping to achieve our strategic objectives and priorities. Products could include demand response programs, web tools, payment options, pricing plans, technology offerings (electric vehicle infrastructure), etc.


ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop strategies and project plans to ensure all public retail charging has an exceptional customer experience.
  • Project manage the development of assigned products and services, coordinating stakeholders in the development and management of the product or service offering.
  • Assemble project teams to assist in the development and delivery of the product or service, including operations, marketing, training, data collection, and customer experience.
  • Adhere to the project and product development methodologies for governance, measurement and evaluation.
  • Lead RFP process on assigned projects as needed.
  • Manage relationships and performance contracts with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and effectively manage program development budgets; review and report on program revenue and expenses monthly.
  • Prepare presentations and related communications for executives and external audiences.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Typically 5-7 years of professional experience with a four-year degree in business, economics, marketing, communications or similar field.
  • Demonstrated product development and marketing experience that showcases an understanding of how to engage customers and evaluate programs.
  • Working knowledge of finance and accounting principles related to utility program implementations preferred.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Self-starter, capable of operating at a high level of autonomy.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication skills to write concise reports, deliver high quality presentations, negotiate contracts, facilitate meetings, deliver presentations and prepare project documentation.

Education Requirements (Experience in Lieu of Degree):
  • 5-7 years of professional experience with a 4-year degree in business, economics, marketing, communications or similar field.

Team and Work Environment
  • The TE team consists of ~12 people working to create and support programs that support electrification of transportation by providing incentives and rebates to make the transition easier and more cost effective.
  • "A day in the life” of this role: This role would support the program management of the Retail Charging customer experience. Additionally, this role would program manage the upgrade construction and on-going management of seven sites and 3 additional public charging sites.
  • There would be a high level on interaction with TE fleet teammates, Customer Experience, Grid Edge, IT, Data, and EV Operations & Maintenance.
  • The top priority for the worker over the first few weeks/months: Understanding the desired retail charging customer experience, installing new chargers at Electric Avenues and setting up the on-going program management of Electric Avenues.
  • The biggest challenge in this role: Understanding the construction process, working with brand new technology, potential integrations, complex data sets, and learning who to contact within the company


Location is Portland, OR with Work From Home Flexibility. Consultants should reside in the area.
