Meridian Technology Group is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator.


To be successful in this role, you will need at least 5 years’ experience performing the following tasks:

  • Install, upgrade, patch the Oracle database infrastructure.
  • Install, upgrade, and manage databases.
  • Maintain the performance of Oracle database servers.
  • Performance tuning of database systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
  • Manage database security.
  • Maintain existing database standards.
  • Manage database access.
  • Install, upgrade and patch Oracle Grid control server.
  • Create automation for repeating database tasks.
  • Experience in Oracle middleware technologies a plus
  • Experience in Oracle based ETL processes a plus.
  • Be available for on-call support as needed.


This position is located in Nashville, Tennessee. Consultants should reside in the area or indicate the reason they are willing/seeking to relocate. Also, interested Consultants must indicate they are willing to relocate at their own expense as this position does not offer relocation assistance.
