Moodle Developer

Job Description
Meridian Technology Group is seeking a Moodle Developer.
Job skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a PHP Laravel Developer
- Strong understanding of PHP, Laravel framework and MVC design patterns
- Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Javascript
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and web services
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
Preferred skills:
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
Essential Duties:
- Develop, implement and maintain PHP Laravel web applications
- Update legacy Laravel framework to current release
- Update code from PHP7.x to 8.x
- Troubleshoot and debug existing applications to ensure optimal performance
- Write clean, efficient and well documented code
- Collaborate with cross functional team to define, design and ship new features
Location is Denver, CO. Position is Fully Remote.
