Meridian Technology Group is seeking a Business Analyst.


CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

In this role, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

A MINIMUM of:
  • 3 years gathering, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements for system implementation.
  • 2 years with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and onboarding multiple EMR systems.
  • 2 years working with the development of early intervention data systems.
  • 3 years collecting and analyzing data, and software process evaluation and improvements.
  • 3 years working both independently and as a member of a project team, in the analysis, design, development and implementation of a complex system implementation.
  • 3 years in developing detailed project documentation and presentations
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field and technical knowledge and understanding of information technology infrastructure and software development practices and techniques. Relevant experience on a year-to-year basis can substitute for specific degree requirement.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform the following tasks in the time and manner specified:
  • Research, understand, and interpret functional and nonfunctional requirements to include business and stakeholder requirements, data and information requirements, data integration, metadata, data quality, service levels and performance, as directed by the Department.
  • Articulate technology in terms stakeholders can understand, and articulate business concepts and processes to the Department’s Early Steps Data System Project technical team, as directed by the Department.
  • Plan, manage, and complete the onboarding, technical validation, and formal certification of designated EMR systems’ file import to integrate with the Early Steps Data System.
  • Manage the EMR user acceptance testing with EMR users.
  • Produce a detailed User Guide, to be reviewed and approved by the Department, outlining step-by-step EMR onboarding, file testing and validation, and certification procedures, from initial EMR user contact through successful Early Steps Data System integration within 120 days from purchase order issuance.
  • Provide post-implementation support for the Early Steps Data System, as directed by the Department.
  • Assist the Department’s Early Steps Data System Project team with testing post-implementation system changes by executing test scenarios and recording the test results, defects, and resolution of defects.
  • Conduct weekly EMR user status meetings and provide documentation of each meeting to the Department supervisor.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive EMR user spreadsheet to include, but not limited to, the agency name, contact, EMR vendor, communication log, status of onboarding, testing, validation and certification and other data as directed by the Department.
  • Review project deliverables and tasks for accuracy, completeness, and quality, as directed by the Department.
  • Support updating the Project Risks, Action Items, Issues, Deliverables and Decisions (RAID) log and other Project logs, as directed by the Department.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly status meetings, project meetings, and stakeholder meetings, as directed by the Department.

DATA SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY TASK:
  • You must comply at all times with all Department data security procedures and policies in the performance of this scope of work as specified in the Data Security and Confidentiality document attached to the purchase order.


This position is located in Tallahassee, Florida. Consultants should reside in the area or indicate the reason they are willing/seeking to relocate. Also, interested Consultants must indicate they are willing to relocate at their own expense as this position does not offer relocation assistance.
