Meridian Technology Group is seeking a Cloud Enablement Engineer.
Meridian Technology Group has a great opportunity for a Cloud Enablement Engineer to join a multi-billion dollar private investment firm based in Fort Worth.
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Enablement Engineer to join our client's IT department. They are focused on bringing in a highly technical individual who possesses a strong level of business acumen, excellent communication skills, and superior problem-solving skills. Experience in leading an organization through a large scale cloud migration is a must.
The successful candidate will work with the partners of the firm and IT leadership to: (i) plan the migration via assessment of applications and network infrastructure, (ii) execute the migration and deployment of the cloud based solution, and (iii) provide technical support of the network on an ongoing basis.
You will join an existing team of 10 outstanding IT personnel who handle the full suite of technology solutions for the company, including proprietary application development, home/office automation, network engineering, security, multi-media, exchange and communications.
The company operates in a Windows environment and supports a variety of technologies currently including: MS Exchange, MS Sharepoint, MS SQL Server, VMWare, Cisco, EMC, BackExec, and Bloomberg.
They offer a team-based, casual atmosphere and foster a small, family-type setting; yet, are intense in their efforts.
The successful candidate will:
- Be offered up to 5 to 20% over current pay or current offers
- Have at least a bachelor's degree with a 3.0+ GPA from a good college or university
- Have 5+ years' experience
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be able to deliver high quality results while working under pressure
- Be able to commit to the position for at least two years
