Job Description
Meridian Technology Group is seeking a ColdFusion Developer.
Description:
- Review, analyze, modify and test existing version 2018 ColdFusion applications to remediate existing code and migrate to version 2023, including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. This is an Enterprise environment. Will also require changes from HTTP to HTTPS.
- Developers needed to do remediation on ColdFusion to get it off of version 2018 and onto version 2023 upgrade.
- Approx. 35 applications that need to be upgraded. Some of the Apps have internals that will not work in the 2023 version so they will need to ensure that the code is written and tested to make sure the new version can run. There is uncertainty on how many of the 35+ apps will need changes or to what extent. One item will be the change from HTTP to HTTPS for Security.
- Environment is in Microsoft and in Enterprise. No mainframe, with the exception of flat files that may come over from the mainframe so candidate must be also skilled in SQL.
- There will be a PM or SME on the Project to monitor and help.
- Project will begin late October. Plan will be to bring 3 Developers. Position is 100% Remote, work from home. Duration is 3-6 months. It may take longer than expected.
